BatRay Rivets Going In.
Left wing is done... Now for the right!
Build Status:
I have completed the riveting of the left wing and it feels sooooo good to have completed it !
I’m now working on riveting up the right wing. I’m making good progress, and its about 1/3 complete.
Once I finish installing rivets on the right wing, the next step is to treat the wing-attach fittings on both wings with rust-proofing and install them permanently.
The airplane looks so much better without so many clecoes sticking out!
You can really see the shape now and envision what its going to look like when its covered.
The build on the BatRay looks clean and meticulously accurate from the photos. I cant wait to see it with the skins on. This is a plan I would love to build for myself, it is so out there and innovative yet simple and practical in structure, with potentially amazing flight characteristics and performance for the build cost.

Like many others, I have followed the developments with great and interest and will be very keen to build one when the CAD plans or kits become available.
